ZHANG Zhuorui
PhD Candidate
I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering (AAE) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).
My research interests include deep learning, computer vision, and large language models, with a focus on autonomous driving and aviation engineering. Before joining PolyU, I spent over two years as an autonomous driving algorithm engineer at XPeng Motors Ltd., where I developed synthetic data generation pipelines and optimized model training to enhance autonomous vehicle performance. I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI in engineering to improve safety, reduce risks, and enhance operational efficiency. Outside of my research, I enjoy fishing in my free time.
