Dr. Mengtao (Tomy) Lyu is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hybrid Intelligence (HI) Lab , Georgia Institute of Technology . He received his PhD in Human Factors Engineering from the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering , The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) , MSc in Supply Chain & Lgistics from School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering , Nanyang Technological University (NTU) , and BEng in Software Engineering and BA in Japanese(Dual degree) from School of Software , Dalian University of Technology (DUT) . Before joining the HI Lab , he was a Research Fellow at Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI) in Singapore .
Tomy is a member of The Hong Kong Ergonomics Society , and a member of Chinese Ergonomics Society . He serves as a reviewer for many international journals and conferences, including: Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence , Advanced Engineering Informatics , Knowledge-Based Systems , Computers & Industrial Engineering , IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems , International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction , Frontiers in Neuroscience .
In addition to the academic activities, Tomy used to work as an IT consultant at ABeam Consulting , and as an IT supervisor at Asics Corp .
